Where can I find print and e-books?

Use the Library Catalogue to search for books and ebooks. If you want to limit your search to ebooks only, use the ebooks limit on the drop down menu.

Where are the books shelved?

Here are some shelf numbers (shelfmarks) to get you started. 

The history and politics of individual countries will have relevant information. You will find them largely in the DA-DT, E & F sections, or search by country on the Library catalogue. Other topic areas are shown below.

Requesting or Reserving Books

You may request or reserve books from any campus whether they are on loan or not, using the 'Reserve this item' button in the Library catalogue.

Choose where you want to collect the item and you will be notified when it is available to collect. (Two day Loan material is excluded).

Where can I find dictionaries and encyclopaedia?

Dictionaries and encyclopaedia are a great place to start if you are new to a topic.  Here are some of the best for Sociology.
