Library and Information Management: Finding Journal Articles

Where can I find the full text of a journal reference?

If you have a specific journal reference, you need find out whether the journal is available online.

Search for the name of the journal in our Electronic Journals list to see if we have the full text.

What is a journal reference ?

This is a typical journal reference:

Ashcroft, L. (2011)  Ebooks in libraries: an overview of the current situation. Library Management, 32 (2), pp. 398-407

This article was written by L. Ashcroft (the author) and is about Ebooks in libraries (the article title). You can find it in the 2011 volume of the journal called Library Management.  The volume number is 32, and the article begins at page 398 in part 2.

If you really must Google, use Scholar!

To make the best use of Google, we recommend the Scholar search. This limits results to higher quality resources.
