Library catalogue

The Library Catalogue is the best place to start searching for books and ebooks.

Try it out using the search box below.

Where can I find dictionaries and encyclopaedia?

Dictionaries and encyclopaedia are a great place to start if you are new to a topic.  Here are some of the best for Politics.

Requesting or Reserving Books

You may request or reserve books from any campus whether they are on loan or not, using the 'Reserve this item' button in the Library catalogue.

Choose where you want to collect the item and you will be notified when it is available to collect. (Two day Loan material is excluded).

Looking for your reading list?

Why not check to see if your reading list is available online? Search by module title, module code or lecturer.

Getting books not available in any of the University libraries

If the book you need isn't in the Library catalogue, then we may be able to request a copy of the book using our Document Delivery Service.

Dissertations and Theses

University of Ulster Masters dissertations and theses
If you want to see examples of past theses (Master's and above) there are copies in each campus library. Just ask at the Issue Desk or Information Point. You may also request dissertations to be sent from one campus library to another using the Inter-Campus Loans Service

Theses from other UK universities
