Business Statistics: Find Books & Ebooks

Where can I find print and e-books?

Use the Library Catalogue to search for books and ebooks.

To limit your search to ebooks only, use the ebooks limit on the drop down menu.

Remember that an AUTHOR search may be used to find publications by an organisation or body. Annual reports of organisations are often a useful source of statistics. They can also be found using a TITLE search (enter ‘annual report’ followed by the name of the organisation.

How many books can I borrow?

  • Undergraduates can borrow 12 standard loan books - for 8 weeks at a time (can be renewed twice).
  • Research students and staff can borrow 25 standard loan books - for 8 weeks at a time (can be renewed twice).
  • Either 4 Two Week Loan books - for 2 weeks (can be renewed twice).
  • Or 4 Two Day Loans books - for 2 days (no renewal).
  • Or a combination of both two day and and two week loan.

Looking for a reading list?

Statistical information may appear as part of many reading lists.

However, why not search for lists using keywords such as research methods, statistics, quantitative, qualitative or survey to see lists which may contain relevant books or resources.

Bookboon - Free Business E-Books

For those looking for basic introductions to business topics, Bookboon also offers a good range of short introductory textbooks as free downloads to students who register on the site. A limited amount of advertising in the text keeps the content free. The site is especially good for general business, accounting, finance, marketing and management textbooks.

Source of statistics not known?

When you do not know which publication contains the statistics you require, look up the topic using a guide to statistics. If a suitable publication is found, look for it using the Library catalogue. A list of some guides to print-based statistics is provided  below.
