Where can I find dictionaries and encyclopaedia?

Dictionaries and encyclopaedia are a great place to start if you are new to a topic.  Here are some of the best for Community Youth Work.

Requesting or Reserving Books

You may request or reserve books from any campus whether they are on loan or not, using the 'Reserve this item' button in the Library catalogue.

Choose where you want to collect the item and you will be notified when it is available to collect. (Two day Loan material is excluded).

Document Delivery

If the item you want is not available from Ulster sources,  the Library's Document Delivery service can request material from the British Library and elsewhere.

You may request books and articles using the Online Request Form

Article requests will usually be sent to you electronically for download so register for British Library's On Demand service prior to requesting and read the guidance on Secure Electronic Delivery (SED). Book requests will be supplied as loans.

There is no charge for either service, although weekly limits may apply.

Looking for a reading list?

Why not check to see if your reading list is available online? Search by module title, module code or lecturer.
