RTE Brainstorm is open for business!

by Sarah Smyth on 2020-04-03T09:30:32+01:00 in UUBS | 0 Comments

RTE Brainstorm platform remains open and now, more than ever, we’re seeking to find innovative and creative topics to feature.

In particular, we’re looking for ideas and pitches that reflect the current situation – topics that might resonate with a general public audience at this time include (but are not limited to):

  • The importance of looking after your mental health and physical health at home
  • The economic impact of COVID 19
  • The effect on the way learning and work is being delivered
  • Social implications of isolation (diet, exercise and wellbeing)
  • Medical developments or findings

So if you’re looking to communicate your thoughts or ideas to a general public audience, or spark debate, now might be the time.

The process is easy:

  1. Send us your pitch – just one or two lines will suffice
  2. We’ll seek commitment from the Editor to publish your piece
  3. You supply your 8-900 word article

Content will need to be original and written for a general public audience (no technical jargon).

To submit a pitch or idea, please email Damian Connor (d.connor@ulster.ac.uk). For more information about RTE Brainstorm visit: https://www.rte.ie/brainstorm/2017/0602/879925-brainstorm-submission/

Facilitated by the Department of Research and External Affairs.
