Harvard Referencing Guide (not including LHS): More than one source is cited

 

 

Harvard Style of Citing References


When more than one source is cited, the sequence of citations should be in chronological order, separated by a semi-colon (;).


 

In text:

e.g.

(Flannery, 1976; Illes, 2006; Hlavajova and Braidotti, 2018).


Your list of references should follow the normal format:

Author's Surname(s), INITIALS. (Year of Publication) Title. Edition (if needed). Place of Publication: Publisher.

e.g.

Flannery, J. (1976) W.B. Yeats and the idea of a theatre: the early Abbey Theatre in theory and practice. New Haven CT: Yale University Press.

Hlavajova, M. and Braidotti, R. (2018) Posthuman glossary. London: Bloomsbury Academic.

Illes, J. (2006) Neuroethics: defining the issues in theory, practice and policy. Oxford: Oxford University Press.
