Harvard Style of Citing References

Journals and authors often make pre-publication versions of their research available on the journal's interface or institutional repositories. These items can also be referred to as In Press, Published ahead-of-printforthcoming, EarlyCite, FirstView or Advanced Access.


 

In text:

According to Heafner et al. (2016), many find that marriage is not as expected ...

or

Whilst the majority of students are aware of e-books, Jbeen et al. (2021) report a lingering ambivalence in students' attitudes.
