Digital and Information Literacy Skills: Welcome

Digital and Information Literacy

Digital and Information literacy means being able to find, evaluate, organise and use information.  It is an essential skill for all staff and students to support their academic studies and professional life.

Digital and Information literacy skills are essential whether you are using traditional print resources, or digital technologies and online resources.

The Digital and Information Literacy Skills provided by Ulster Library does not include support for digital software or making students IT proficient.

How good are your research skills?

The librarians at Newcastle University have developed a short quiz to help you see just how good your Information Literacy skills really are.  Why not test yourself?
