RefWorks: Adding Webpages

Install the Save to RefWorks Plugin - New RefWorks

To install Save to RefWorks:

  1. Ensure that your browser's favorites toolbar is currently visible in your browser.
  2. In RefWorks, select Tools > Tools. The Tools page appears.
  3. Select Install Save to RefWorks. A dialog box appears.
  4. Drag and drop the Save to RefWorks plugin to your browser's favorites toolbar. The plugin is installed.
  5. Click anywhere on the page to close the dialog box.

Now you will see the Save to RefWorks shortcut on the toolbar

To Use:

Note: You must turn off ad-blockers and allow third-party cookies for Save to RefWorks to function.

  1. Go to the web page you want to cite. 
  2. Click on the Save to RefWorks button to collect the information.  If you're not already logged-in, you will be prompted to do so now.
  3. Review the information in the right-hand panel.  You can edit any field.
  4. Click on the Save to RefWorks button on the bottom of the page.
