Books are essential as they will give you not only background information and the established research on a topic but will identify key papers, reports and policy.
Use the Library catalogue (for print and ebooks) and our eBook databases to search for books available via Ulster University. You can also search local, national and international catalogues - a selection is listed on this page.
The Library Catalogue is the best place to start searching for books housed across the three campus libraries. You can limit your results to those available at a specific campus, such as Coleraine.
You can also use the Library Catalogue to search for many (but not all) of our ebooks. For some ebooks, you will need to access these via our dedicated ebook databases.
The library provides access to eBooks in two main ways:
The Library subscribes to a large number of eBook collections in many subject areas. You can access these databases by clicking on the links below or by going to the Library homepage and selecting the Databases link from the Quick Links area. Then scroll to the relevant database from there.
The following will be of relevance to Life and Health Sciences students.
