In this short video, I would like to show you how to access your subject guide.
Access the library homepage at Ulster.ac.uk/library and under the Quick Links menu select the Subject Guides link.
Here you can filter to your faculty subject guides, AHSS, LHS, CEBE, or UUBS or browse all of the library subject guides.
Click the link to access the guides. Here, you can see that we have 90 subject guides covering both subjects and library tools. You will find an A-Z listing of all the topic and subject areas, but also subject guides for library tools such as RefWorks.
To access your subject, click on the title. When you access your subject guide, you will find highly curated content by your subject librarians. The subject guide hosts different pages, which you can access at the blue tabs on the top of the screen.
By clicking on the blue tab, you will be taken to a page where you will find a wealth of information on that topic area. Typically, subject guides provide information on eBooks, databases, writing skills, referencing and RefWorks, video guides and class slides and handouts.
