In this short video, I would like to show you how to make a subject library appointment.
Go to the library homepage at Ulster.ac.uk/ library and under the Quick Links menu, select the subject Support Appointments.
When you come to the information on booking appointments, simply scroll down and select the campus library that you would like your appointment from.
In this example, I'm going to select Belfast. You can see within the Belfast Library there are three faculty librarians with appointments listed.
If you're a faculty librarian is not available, please contact your librarian directly.
Here. Just choose the staff member or faculty that you would like to speak with and you will see their availability calendar.
Select the date. And time that is most appropriate for you. And click continue.
Here, you will be asked to fill out your details, including your name, your Ulster University email address, your student or staff I.D. and what you require help with. You are also asked if you would like your appointment, either online or face to face in the library.
You can also upload supporting documentation so that your librarian can have a look at your query before your appointment.
Don't forget to confirm your appointment at the bottom of the page.
Once you've confirmed your appointment, you should receive an email to your Ulster University email address.
You should open this appointment and click on the confirm appointment link to ensure that your appointment is fully booked.
If you've any problems with your booking to meet with your subject librarians, please contact library help.
