From the Library Homepage, locate our Quick Links area and then select the Databases link. You will now come to the library databases listing.
You can see that you can either search for a database by name, by simply entering the name and the small search box, or alternatively, you can select a letter from the alphabetical list at the top in order to scroll through and browse the databases whose name begins with the particular letter.
Before doing that, you should also look to see the key to the resources and this gives various information whether the database is indexed by USearch, if there's off campus access and also the icon there, if there is a password required for off campus access.
You can see that the listings will include the title of the database, the coverage, if relevant, and any special instructions so, the link again to the password and access information that may be needed as well as a resource description.
With some different icons linking to the key to resources to let you know extra information relevant to that particular database. If there is any extra password information needed, you can see this icon listed here and we can click into the password and access information.
There will then be a link or further information listed if needed, click on the link and enter your user ID and network password if requested. Otherwise, if there's no specific off campus access password needed, you simply click on the name of the database and you will gain access.
If you need any further support in accessing our databases, please contact the Library Help Team or contact your local campus librarian.
